Persuasion is my specialty. I’m passionate about the perspectives of customers and I'm good at putting myself in their shoes (because only there can we see why they'd want to do what we want them to do). I care about doing good work, meeting deadlines and being consistent with the brand personality. You can rely on me for writing, but I’m also big on collaboration, because I believe the best ideas are generated when copy and design, research and strategy and you and I come together. 

I've written about everything from loans for home improvement to insulin-suspension technology for diabetes treatment to planet-friendly air conditioning to roast beef sandwich franchise sales to lanolin-based saddle soap to industrial masking tapes (that peel off nicely) to free trips to Napa Valley for showing commercial real estate to string quartet concerts to ready-to-bake cinnamon buns to logistics consulting to wrinkle-reducers to adult literacy to safe infant sleep to heartburn medicine to hay harvesters to newspaper subscriptions to fitness and nutrition challenges to very fast French tires.

My work has appeared in magazine, newspaper, radio, web and digital advertising. In print and email direct mail programs. In videos at sales meetings and points of purchase. In brochures and other sales materials. Sometimes even on social media, Viewmasters and recycling can labels. It has changed people's minds and made companies money. 

EXPERIENCED

I've worked for companies and for agencies. Along the way, I've learned how important deadlines are. I've also learned a lot about how to keep projects on track and help teams and organizations succeed. Because good work that meets goals and makes everyone look good doesn't happen in a vacuum. It takes finesse, dedication and cooperation.


ADAPTABLE

I have a curious mind and love to rise to a challenge. Once I make my way up the learning curve for type 1 diabetes or index-based securities or in-town redevelopment, I can explain it to someone else in a compelling, conversational, benefit-oriented way.
